2015 and they are still over £200

Any reputable place selling them refurbished in UK?

I paid £249.99 on the 22nd Nov 2015 (Black Friday deal down from £329 I think), but it wasn't opened til Christmas.

Thanks! I'm surprised the price holds like this for so long.

I was looking at this one for my son.

Before you consider it, I've just been reminded that we have 2 of them in the house. The second one, which was bought at the same time but not given as a present until the following Christmas 2016 (don't ask!!), has a fault with the screen.
Everything is working in the background (can hear notifications coming in etc) but the screen doesn't fire up. Samsung were quoting something like £125 for the repair.
If you fancy a small project I could maybe do something for you with this one.

That looks very interesting actually. The specs are quite good. Camera is a bit low res and I know my son likes to take photos and record clips (then edit them) on his tablet, but other than that it looks quite descent. I need to read some reviews. Thank you for posting that data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

EDIT: oh, the screen resolution is quite low.
Oh I'm no good with fixing small electronics like that. I have fixed a couple of laptops in the past, but tablets are too fragile for me to try. Besides, it is meant to be a xmas present, so I doubt I can get it fixed in time.

1 for the Tab A 10.1.I've just bought one for my 8yo grandson.I was very impressed by the screen quality.

I looked at Fires, but decided they were far too limited.

Got one of them in the kitchen, only use it with Google Keep to write down stuff I need from the shops, it has been an excellent tablet.

If you wanted a cheap replacement again, the kindle fire is £29 today. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
Gotta be worth just replacing it every couple of years for £29!
