I think it's going to take someone A LOT of time and A LOT of money to beat this game in terms of production values and polish.
Almost everything that Oculus and Facebook have funded so far have been AAA or near AAA quality but this raises the bar quite considerably.
I just wish my back and leg wasn't screwed otherwise I'd have been able to play it for longer. Can't wait to get back to this tomorrow! I didn't get back to it for long, just long enough to do the second part of the first level to get my shield due to my bloody leg playing up.
I'm probably going to get back to it tonight because I've been playing No Man's Sky because it's easier for me to game in VR sitting down.
The combat in this game is excellent so far, particularly when you slice through enemies and slice them in two. Nice and gory, but I'd prefer it if these zombie enemies were living rather than undead because there'd be A LOT more blood when chopping the fudgeers up loldata:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 This has to be one of the best and simple vr mods. Haven't had a chance to try that yet. I must give it a go at some point, I bought GTA V the other day for 13 quid or so.
I'm having trouble tearing myself away from No Man's Sky at the moment, even for Asgard's Wrath data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Has anyone played gunclub and/or racket Fury? Quite interested in these. You really should give it a go, it only takes a couple of minutes to set up. Its amazing how well this runs. I`m get a constant 90fps on high settings. This is coded by a single hobbyist and puts a lot of VRversions (borderlands/NMS) to shame.
I`ve been switching between third and first person in this as it plays so well either way. I'm looking forward to giving this a try.
I'd tried the previous VR injection thing quite a bit, with GTAVR and VorpX but never got much out of it in the way of playable results.
This is good news! Thanks for sharing, I wasn't aware of it.
