Chromecast Ultra issues on a Unifi network
Is anyone using chromecasts on a Ubiquiti Unifi wifi network?I am having no luck getting a chrome cast ultra connected to my wifi (network consists of all unifi hardware 2 x Ac pro's unifi switch cloud key and USG) no issues with any other clients connecting to wifi.
Have seen a few pointers on the web for various issues but nothing that has managed to sort mine out, chromecast power up when plugged into the tv and my google home app can see it, it goes through all of the setupsteps exactly as it should but just at the point where it is supposed to connect to wifi it fails to connect (treble checked wifi password is correct etc.)
I am sure it is some setting in my unifi controller that I am missing as the chrome cast works fine if I use a an iPad as a wifi hotspot in place of the house wifi so proving there is no issue with the chromecast
just wondering if anyone else had this problem and if/how they resolved it?

Similarly, are there any logs on the AP's that might show what's happening at time of failure? Only error message I get is 'cannot connect to xxx wifi' on the chromecast setup interface, nothing shows up (that I can see) in the AP's nor the cloud key running the controller software
proper stumped on this one. They have their own guide for setting up Chromecast, if thats any help. @next010 Thanks, had seen that yesterday and went through it twice with no luck, went through it again just now and realised I had missed one box i should have ticked as part of the setup procedure in the controller tickedand bingo connected! just shows how easy it is to miss one tiny thing. all seems to be working fine now //static.avforums.com/styles/avf/smilies/facepalm.gif//static.avforums.com/styles/avf/smilies/facepalm.gif
