NAS High RAM usage

Hi. We have a QNAP 410Turbo NAS (about 6 yrs old) which is currently on a go slow! It is telling me that the RAM use is about 80%. Can anyone tell me how I find out what is using this RAM because it runs at this level whether anyone is accessing it or not. CPU fluctuates more but generall sits around 35%. Ten computers are on the network and all using Windows 10, nothing complex on the NAS it is basically used as a network storage facility.

Any thoughts would be most welcome.

High RAM use isn't necessarily a "problem" on a file server - many of their OS's cache data into RAM as they read it and leave it there until something else needs the RAM. You might try giving it a power cycle and/or have a look to see if there's a system log or any tools to interrogate the health of the disc drives. And if you haven't made a separate backup of any important data recently, think about doing so.

Thanks for the replies. Just setting up a new TS-453Be. It needs an HDD for the initialisation, which is fine going through that. Even though I have all data backed up it will be easier to migrate HDDs across and the 453 is compatible with the 410. Is this really as simple as they say? It seems too easy.
