I am having this same problem.Proximity to access points is definitely not the issue.Only restarting velop fixes it.

Have you tried turning off client steering? So far mine hasn't dropped off and disconnected since I disabled that feature

digidep Publish time 2-12-2019 04:29:36

Is this a new feature added recently?

I haven't had any issues previously.I have had setup for several years without issue.

I will turn off that setting and monitor.

It was added in July. However there was a firmware update in October to add Linksys Aware so this may be having an effect.

I'm going to enable client steering again soon to see if the problem starts again

There's a lot of problems being blamed on the October update in the Linksys forums

digidep Publish time 2-12-2019 04:29:39

Turned off client steering, hasn’t helped.Cameras still going offline all the time.

The other one to try is disabling node steering

I've turned off both steering options and still getting nest camera drops.

I think I'm going to have to figure out how to load older firmware on the nodes.

Eddy555 Publish time 2-12-2019 04:29:43

I think the second post to the Linksys forum had links to the old firmware
