You don't need to buy a W10 disc, you can download W10 and update your PC, then use your W7 product key to activate W10. If you need help with this let us know. ok thanks for that I was told that if I bought a Disc that I could get one with the product key included ,I do have another Dell Latitude D830 which sort of works but after its been on for say 5 mins then I can not control the cursor the arrow moves around without any help,I was told that a non genuine or faulty power pack could be the cause but its a genuine dell one and on the dell I have just reloaded works fine with no problems,I just now am waiting for all the updates to load and I have already got the licence key verified It's not the way it's done these days and as I said you can use your W7 key for free.
Nothing to do with a none genuine power pack. Probably a driver issue, so click on the link below to the Dell support site and update your drivers. If you can't do that with the D830, because of the muse issue, do you have a spare USB mouse that you can plug into a USB port, then go to the Dell site and update the drivers.
