i have a 480 rad with my new fans running very slowly and is still audible, albeit not very load.
I guess it really depends on whats important. if its noise, get a closed case. My Coolermaster runs around 30db with all 3 case fans running maxed 24/7 and the upgraded CPU cooler but with the gpu (strix 1050 double fan) set to 0db (only comes on at a set temp) My fans running at 1200rpm (60%) is around 36 dB and is clearly audible but I do sit pretty close.
I’m not saying it’s good or bad, just giving you my experience in changing to a similar case. Appreciate that dollag thanks data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
how "Sturdy" is your case on its vertical arrangement? and did you have any issues with the threads stripping or not being able to tighten properly? I remember a couple threads being a bit dodgy but all went in ok no problems and not threaded. The actual build quality is great imo. My lian li mini itx case is built better but not massively. Even with nearly a litre of liquid moving about, I moved the pc very easily and was sturdy. The feet are also not the best but if picked up by the actual frame, it’s fine. Many thanks.. confirms my suspicion then. You've been a good help dollag. cheers. I might just get a P3 and have a play data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 I have a View 91 case, and the build quality is spot on. There is a lot of negativity towards Thermaltake on certain forums, but there is also a lot of people with vested interests, so take the neg's with a pinch of salt
