Seasonic Focus Gold 750 watt PSU
Anyone has one? What do you think of it? Seasonic make good PSU's, have had a few and never had issues with them. Not had this particular model but being gold rated it would be as good as any other similar PSU's out there. Scan Computers sell them and Scan does not sell bad product, I would stand by their recommendation any time. You could probably get a cheaper deal but Scan support and warranty is top class.Seasonic Focus Plus750 Watt Gold Modular PSU/Power Supply I have a Seasonic Bronze 520w in my system since 2012 and it seen 2 builds. This time I'm replacing components as needed. I got a new MOBO and CPU then drives (SSD and SSHD) then a bigger video card (replaced 1g HD7770 with 4g RX 570). They are more power hungry and I had freezes.
I started with a Seasonic Bronze 550 but sold out then went for Seasonic Bronze 650 but that sold out. This time I snagged the Seasonic Gold 750 (I used the calculator and it says 750 for headroom) before that's gone.
All on Amazon Prime. Recommended for RX 570 4G is 450W according to spec so your good to go on 750W, provided all the other devices in your setup are covered within that. That I saw which seems to be cutting it close. I'm here with the 520w but playing a graphical game or watching videos will make the picture freeze and the sound goes on.
This PSU is 7 years old and I'm sure the wattage are dropped some already. Can't say it's 520w anymore. Slightly confusing. Do you have the Seasonic 750W Gold now? If so, to what are you referring cutting it close? No, the 750 is in shipment now. I'm still on the 520. Okay that clears it thanks. It's coming in tomorrow but I'm going to move it to Saturday. I have an appt at the clinic and who knows it'd come in. Porch pirates are bad here. Watch YouTube about them and they're plain folks.
Girls, guys and kids. Tis sad that every one is a crook.
