Laptop battery replacement source?

I need a new laptop battery for a Dell, the old one has died after many years of use.

I have purchased one from Amazon, made by "Green Cell". Unfortunately it appears to be defective. If the laptop is booted it reports 100% charge, within minutes the laptop will shut down due to no power. Restart with it plugged in to the mains it reports 0% battery, it will then charge back to 100% within 10 minutes or so and the cycle repeats.

I've tried leaving it on for a long time with it plugged in, hoping that the sudden 100% charge is a misreport and it would carry on charging, but it would appear not.

Do I try a replacement or is there a trusted source for batteries ?

Thanks

Try here, I got one from here for an Acer when the battery went bad. Was a good price as well.
