Hello again Davidg. It appears after watching this video my windows 10 is different inasmuch that it does not have the "all apps" in the start menu. Even if I do a search it is not on this machine. I am getting in a right mess. I managed strangely enough tomuddle my way to use the "other" in the choice menu and did get my email working. The only problem is if I "reply" to a message the reply come straight back to me. By the way I do have outlook, so I suppose I could try that, I just don't want to muddy the waters any more than I already have. Funny part is, on my old machine running windows 7 I have an app with the talktalk motive on it and it taked me to my mail account, god knows how I did that!!!

The app in the shape of the Mail icon is the windows mail app!
Yes windows 10 no longer has all apps, just scroll down and look for windows mail app (under M) and drag it onto the desktop or the task bar for easy access.

When you reply to a mail the orginal mail is displayed, you need to type in the blank space indicated, click on the thumbnmail below to see

Sorry there is not much else I can do, if you are still struggling , suggest you try and get a tech savvy relative/friend to have a look

Hey DavidG, not a problem, you have helped a lot. Thought you might like this weez. I was trying to set up an icon/app on my desk top, I have one on my old computer but couldn't remember how i did it to go to my talktalk account directly instead of going through typing it in google method. I type in on google for my TT account, when it comes up I right click and copy link then paste it on desk top and wallar!! I am exhausted, now I just have to work out the email problem. Thanks again for your help.
