Issues with Asus PG278Q

My near 4 year old Asus PG278Q has suddenly developed issues.

There appears to be a flickering that gets worse as the refresh rate goes up. Text has become jaggy and appears to quiver. Fine lines, particularly on the desktop around small windows, seem to have colour artifacts.

I've tried replacing the PSU and DP cable. To rule out the GPU, I've output to my OLED with zero image issues.

Is the monitor screwed? What are the chances of Asus doing anything with the warranty expired? Anyone had this before?

If it is a monitor issue Your best bet is to take it to a local workshop for them to see if it is economic to repair. Asus probably won’t be interested in doing an out of warranty repair - the cost of shipping alone would make it expensive.
