Can anyone recommend me a laptop please?
Hi,After having my Acer laptop for over 7yrs I think it's slowing giving up on me so could someone recommend me a decent laptop please.
Budget up to £300 - prefer the cheaper option though.Would rather buy instore than online, but can be convinced otherwise for a trusted online company for a good saving.
Screen size 14" to 16"
No resolution requirements and don't mind whether matte or glossy screen.
Using for browsing, printing documents, word processing. No gaming or watching Netflix etc..
Would like a package where Microsoft office is included in the deal.I would like the complete package rather than a yearly subscription.
Need battery to last 6hrs
HDMI1 port
Minimum 3 USB port
No webcam, not bothered on RAM, HDD, speakers etc..
Not sure what people think of Windows 10.If it's the norm then i'll go with that.
I have a canon wireless printer. Not sure how I go about linking that with new laptop.I think I managed it when I had a new router.
Edit - forget about disc drive
Thanks Windows 10 is good OS. Fast, easy and fairly secure.
I'd look at www.novatech.co.uk
You can custom build your PC and they are a good company. HP 255 G7 Laptop, AMD Ryzen 3 2200U, 8GB DDR4, 256GB SSD, 15.6 Full HD, No-DVD, Radeon Vega 3 Graphics, WIFI, Windows 10 Home Popular with business customers, the Ryzen 3 is a durable, lightweight and fast-working computer. Great for streaming movies too. /proxy.php?image=https://www.ebuyer.com/assets/img/favicon.306c965e06911c3a150a2a89034b96bf.png&hash=b567d004db79736aaf8541a6588cb9b6&return_error=1 www.ebuyer.com
What do people think of the above,
Anyone have any experience of buying from ebuyer? I have a Lenovo IdeaPad S340 and so far, apart from a few issues, working just fine.
Issues:
1. Flashing black screen, used to happen once every few weeks, but not now.
2. Touchpad is PITA. Whenever I try to click the left button, I end up clicking the right button. Thankfully I have a wireless touchpad keyboard, which I fully recommend.
Compatibility with certain programs and software means that on non-Microsoft programs and software, you'll have to click the right button and select "Troubleshoot Compatibility" for the setup file to work. eBuyer are supposed to be very good.
I'm waiting for an order from them, i'll let you know how I get on Ok ordered my screen Saturday morning, got it just now.
Well packed, quick delivery and good pricing Ok sounds good thanks
