New DJI Osmo Pocket
Pre ordered one of these, looks amazing for its size. What do you guys think? Got some interesting add ons. I'm not sure it is for serious filming. Fancy one myself, sick of carrying around a Canon 5D on a gimble (seriously heavy) I've seen footage and watched a few reviews, looks amazing, game changer.If you don't mind me asking where you pre-ordered yours from? Pre-order direct from DJI but was plenty of places to pre-order from. That LCD handle-display (is it?) looks mighty small to my eyes.
I guess I don't know anything about Vlogging ... is this a piece to camera talking about what's been happening since the last time? -Or is it showing things you've bought, like that "unboxing" sequence that shows every piece of wrapping....?
......Either of the above would be better ( er, IMHO), if a focused camcorder, with tripod ( or a slider-cum-arm) was available =to add "interest" while showing some close-detail of whatever it was you bought. Oh well. You can add a phone to make a bigger display if you like. The small form factor is what appeals to me. When is this officially released. I was hoping to see if John Lewis or Currys get them in 12 to 15th of Dec I believe they start shipping. Adding your 'phone to the Set-up, means you have two items to hold, two sets of batteries/chargers;when for a little thought they could have added a wired larger-display. However, I suspect the LCD is only really there to show Menu/Settings . . . but even these will be somewhat difficult, IMHO.
No ans. on Vlogging yet.
