trying to find my first camcorder

Hi everyone, I am new to camcorders and am trying to find a good one to purchase. I have been looking at the Sony nx-80 as well as the canon xf400. I need to be able to shoot well in low light. I know the canon can shoot 4k in 60p while the Sony can shoot 4k in 30p. I am mainly using it to film wildlife and things like that. I will mainly be posting to youtube. I was mainly wondering if the Canon is worth the extra 400 bucks.

You seem to be going for a surprisingly high spec for a first camera. Would a good consumer cam from the big three (Canon Sony Panasonic) be an option?

Fair enough. I suggest you also include Panasonic in your list. Example:- HC-X1000E
I record sound on a Tascam DR-60D MkII, this gives superior recordings as well as supplying a sync output to my camcorder for syncing in post production later. The Tascam gives more options for sound recording than a pro camcorder so, with my cam, provides a versatile system.

Thanks I will look into those as well.
