HAHA I still love this m8! So so clever for such a simple video that its makes have a laugh every time I watch it!

On a sort of related note has anyone used muvee products? ( Movie making in just 3 steps! )like reveal X? the price seems to be right at about $50 but I wanted to check before I bought it for my PC.

If I do buy it, I am going to make one of these video's, but wont promise that it will be any good data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Thanks data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7, i've never used any Muvee products, but i've just viewed the link and had a quick look. My only concern is is it just an automated program ='make a movie in 3 steps' . If you enjoy editing (it can become addictive) you will want to learn more and all that you have seen on there site can be achieved manually with most of the top editing programs. You will need lots of patience and sometimes it's a steep learning curve but when you have done it yourself it's more rewarding.
If Muvee has 'manual' input then i would download a trial and see if it's what you want.

Yea I hear ya about the 3 steps thing. I am just trying to find a well reviewed editor for under 100 bucks..could just be worth a try.. I think I might. and I'll keep you posted.P.S i have no idea how that "3 easy steps" text came up when i pasted their website..

Thanks for the reply!

MAGIX Movie Edit Pro Plus ? Movie editing software

Computer Shopper reviewed Vid Editors recently up to £100 and Vegas Studio is still their preferred choice - that's why I bought it . . . £34 and now the v11 is a bit less, but foranyone interested in sound (and you should be), the Production Suite is good, with SoundForge and a 1hr Tutorial DVD.   It not click-click job done, but will enable you to make the best of what you've got - once over the initial "daunt" . . .
AND plenty of Tutorials on YouTube/Vimeo, etc.

12harry's right about the 'daunt' part, there's maybe more of a learning curve in VMStudio than in some of the others, but don't give up data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
And once again, you should always get a trial of the programs that seem interesting to you first though.

Is this the best price for Vegas movie studio HD 11 ? £17.99 delivered

7dayshop.com - Online Store

If we are talking "bangs per buck" then that must wipe the floor .... unless your editor is free!

Is it worth upgrading from version 10 though?

vkmast Publish time 2-12-2019 01:50:49

I would say it is...see what's in the product description and

Sony Creative Software - Vegas Movie Studio Release Notes

Keep the older version too, if you decide to upgrade.

Interesting comment vkmast; I have wondered about an upgrade from VSv10 to v11 - can you confirm that the software doesn't get itself confused - or do you create separate folders for the software?

I rather expected the newer software would attempt to obliterate the earlier set-up.....but then I'm close to paranoid.

-Also, as v11 has been out a while I may as well wait for v12 - anyone hint at what is in that...?

BTW for anyone upgrading - probably the No1 reason being the "Pro-Titler" - but to maintain compatability v11 has the earlier Text called "traditional, or some such rubbish", so earlier Edit files can be opened in v11.

I bought the VS"production Suite" - this contains the audio prog SoundForge as well as a 1hr DVD Tutorial. I think it's worth the slight extra cost as I find it invaluable - although VS is an excellent audio-only Editor, since you can habve up to 10 Stereo tracks, whereas SF doesn't appear to permit more than 2-channels.

Hope that helps.
