LG 55ub950v (55ub950v-zb) - no UHD/4K input?
Hello all, and merry Christmas data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7I have a 55ub950v-zb. It is ok. Black levels are not too good, but is ok.
I have one problem. The other people in the family doesn't care, but I do. Very much.
I am having trouble sending 4K signals to the screen. I have tried to switches (E-bay) that are both labeled 4K.
When I connect a device with 4K I am not able to send 4K to the TV.
The Nvidia Shield Android TV does support 4K. I checked the resolution, it is set to UHD.
No matter if I connect it directly or though the switch I can't get Netflix in 4K.
The cable is 4K certified.
If I open the Netflix app on the TV I do get 4K.
Can it be that it is a 4K TV, but the inputs aren't ready for 4K? Not latest HDCP/HDMI - something like that.
I tried to google it, but I am still unsure.
I am using input number one, I read somewhere that this was the "best" HDMI input
I hope someone can help me before I go completely insane.
