What could have caused this damage to TV?

I have had two TVs develop the same fault (as pictured) within a week when using to play PS4.

The screens look as if they have been knocked, but they haven't. Just happend mid game.

The TV is only conected to a PS4, could it somehow be the cause, or could it be a power surge?Don't want to replace with a 3rd screen without knowing what has caused damage?

Very grateful for any help. Thanks.

Looks like an impact mark to me tbh, you can see where the object hit.

It's not an impact, nothing has touched the screen. Just happened during gameplay.

Happend to my 24" monitor last week and now to my spare TV. Can't be coincidence, so has to be caused by the PS4 or something like a power surge.

Did you throw the controller in a fit of blind rage?

Nope.
Can't be caused by either.

I'd have to go along with - that's an impact.

Is it the same on all the other channels and inputs, (With the PS4 disconnected) if so it definitely looks like something has impacted the screen. (There aren’t any kids around are the, as they have ruined many a TV and Speaker)

I can clearly see the point of impact in the photo.

Surely this is a wind up?
