Settings->Sound->Expert Settings
* HDMI Input Audio Format = enable or disable bistreaming, the last Samsung I owned badly labelled these as PCM (disable) and bitstream (enable), Samsung may or may not have changed them.
* Digital Audio Output Format = with bitstream enabled you select the audio format, ideally it should be Auto if Samsung provide it (they didn't on my last unit) so you have to manually select DD, DDor DTS 5.1, also PCM is listed here too which is just stereo. Set it to DD or DTS not DD .
On PS4 audio settings
* PCM = Automatic configuration based on HDMI connection, 2.0, 5.1, 7.1
* Dolby 5.1
* DTS 5.1
ARC is limited to PCM 2.0, Dolby 5.1, DTS 5.1, you can't get the higher quality PCM 5.1/7.1 audio over ARC. question guys on the 16:9 fot to screen where ti has either standard custom and off or fit to screen .. when i click off it actually zooms in the pic but when i put fit to screen the picture zooms out and you see more of the picture.. is this feature supposed to be on fit to screen on ? anyone I have my Q7 set to fit to screen.
