Faulty switch? Something you could try is go into the xbox S settings while it is in 1080p mode and change it to ycbcr 4.2.0 4k instead of rgb if it lets you. Really go through the Xbox video settings. It could be trying something too high bandwidth for the switch.
Try a different port on the switch too.
People in reviews have said they have had xbox S and ps4 pro's working via this switch.

Hi thanks for the reply, yea I've tried all of those options and nothing. I tried the PS4 pro and had no joy there either

I have both Xbox One S and Pro working fine with this switch. Seems a lottery with this thing

Looks like it will have to go back and try another then.
Do both pass through 4K and HDR and are you using the power cable at all?

Yes.
Mine doesn't work at all without a power supply.

I wonder how many of these problems are due to the Ligawo switches not liking an individual set up and how many are due to faults/sample variation.
I managed to pick up a 5:1 switch when they were on offer at £40, and it seems to have solved the one problem I had with my 3:1 switch (screen flashing off when playing 1080i, even though fine with 4K/HDR).
Nothing else has changed in my system, so it definitely seems strange that one works when the other didn't. I am just hoping it carries on working as the flashing is a deal-breaker for me.

It's the 5-1 switch that isn't working for me, I should get the new one tomorrow so we will see how it goes. I really. We'd it to work as I only have one port that passes through HDR and I have 2 consoles that support HDR

Good luck with it, I hope it works out for you.
I am still interested how you get it working without the power supply. Are there any lights on the unit? Mine doesn't seem to do anything at all without the power supply attached.
