Hopefully the Legawo will stay stable. I retested mine again with the PS4 pro and it worked this time. No flickering on and off of the picture. Fingers crossed.

Are you still using it without the power cable attached? I wonder how much difference that makes?

Samv0808 Publish time 1-12-2019 22:17:50

Actually yes I am. Have you got yours powered?

daveb975 Publish time 1-12-2019 22:17:51

Yes. The other switch came with a UK 5V 1a power adaptor so I used it with that.

Worth a punt on a cheap adapter then if it continues being temperamental then. Thanks Dave

The one that comes with it plugs into a two pin (shaver) adaptor if you have one.

I'll keep giving feedback on the Ligawo as long as others are interested.

The only thing it is missing compared to the more expensive boxes seems to by an optical breakout. That would be handy for the Amazon 4K box which only has HDMI out. I can certainly live without that if the box works though!

Mine doesn't work without power
How is yours working?

Samv0808 Publish time 1-12-2019 22:17:55

Currently playing battlefield 1 for the last couple of hours with no problems through the switch on the PS4 pro. No power. Going to see how it goes before buying an adapter. No idea where I put the one that came with it. Still can't work out why the previous times I tried it didn't work. Maybe there was a handshake issue. No idea

One thing I have found with the Ligawo is that it doesn't like really short HDMI cables. I have the unit right next to my AVR so connected that to input 3 using a 0.5m cable and it wouldn't pass anything at all.

It was the same with another dale of the same length. It is now up and running with a 2m one (only passing full HD from the AVR).
