Yeah the Ambivision stuff doesn't go into detail around supported HDCP versions or HDMI versions so it may not work with the latest kit.

I'm all up for buying something like this when they crack it!

still no packaged solution with hdmi 2.0 and hdcp2.2

always hoped philips would do it in its hue line

I grabbed one of these in their recent Kickstarter, haven't tried it yet though:
Welome to DreamScreen - Smart TV Backlighting

Well your feedback would be welcome, especially if you happen to make it work with uhd-hdr content

There may be a way : but it's expensive :
With a device like this one HDFfury Integral Révision HDCP   2 x 2 Matrix Audio Extractor, gestionnaire EDID/CEC, application de commande Résolution jusqu'à , 4:4:4, 18 Gbit/sec/600MHz: Amazon.fr: High-tech
You can split hdmi 2.0 signal to your 4k TV and to a device like dreamscreen without losing the hdcp 2,2 handshake

As a long time ambilight user (last 2 main TV sets) I now don't want to be without it. I'm looking for a new set at the moment and Philips lack of presence in the UK market is a real pain. I am looking into lightberry as a possible solution but at present there is no solution (just through hdmi 1.4). I'm sure this will change in the future.
I only wish philips could get there higher range tv's in more uk retailers and provide more stock. The 65pus7601 is almost impossible to obtain data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

As someone who has a pretty large Hue setup, including some of their Lightstrip Plus, it would be amazing if they just made an adaptor box for it as the quality of the LED lights is fantastic. Mind you, if they did it would probably be £500 knowing how they price the Hue stuff!

Dreamscreen might be available in a UHD version early next year (2017)
And another system called "lightpack 2" will get a UHD version in April (2017 too)

I got the HD version on pre order from the UK rather than US
