That would cause the alarm yes, it is designed so ifdevice "goes missing" when the alarm is armed it will alert you. Unless changed...

Disabled the missing report (for now).

It was set to 2 hrs and that shouldn't have triggered the siren?

Can one please help me, my Visonic PowerMaster 30 decides to report trouble with GPRS Went Offline. I clear this by enabling and disabling Dual Reporting but keeps coming bAck each day.

The dual reporting function would make no difference to this, it is more likely to be a signal issue with the sim card, I would suggest adding an aerial antenna..
