Me too, the website says they can't, were they easy to cut to size?

From the video @shahedz linked, its no more difficult than any other roller blind. Just the additional work of cutting the top box section

Ah, I should read the full post first data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Looks straightforward enough

I might be lucky and get away with buying the 120cm for the kitchen, the window width is 129cm but the window frames are pretty wide UPVC so the glass itself only has an overall width of 114cm

Up in the lounge the two windows are 84.5cm and 84cm, so I may even get away with not cutting either but rather sanding down one of the blinds for in there by .5cm

I went with Blocblinds as was already a fan of their manual blackout blinds for baby/kids bedroom. The electronic versions have been really easy to install and generally work flawlessly through the remote or IQ WiFi bridge.

For the person looking at API use, they have IFTTT capabilities it's just listed under the 'Connector' IFTTT service as Bloc are just rebranding an OEM platform & app it seems.

FWIW - I've confirmed just now that the IFTTT app for BlocBlinds (search 'Connector') allows for a % open amount to be passed in, which you can trigger using an IFTTT Webhook/Maker REST API. I've just got a blind working in Smartthings this way using WebCore.

Ah nice!Good to know for future use.I've already got my blinds now but if I get any more for the house I'll likely get bloc blinds knowing that.

Had confirmation from BlocBlinds that their Skylight blinds have been upgraded to now support their BlocIQ remotes & app. Have ordered 2 for my loft Velux windows and will report back.
