There's a mecross one that's got good ratings for Android so will do more reading on that and others too.
I can't believe I never seen them on Amazon before as I use it a lot.

I didn't go for the iSmartgate in the end, I went for the Meross, it was a lot cheaper and I assume less refined, but it's spot on for what I wanted.
I got it all set up today and it's working great.
Open/close with app or Google Voice, notifications that is open/closed, or left open after a certain time.
Plenty more options that I haven't gone through yet.
Thanks again. I also have a Meross set-up and find it simple to use, getting alerts when the door has been left open for a user defined period of time. I have also found it really useful when I don't have the garage remote on me, so can use the app on my phone to open it as well. 1 for Meross, I ended up with that purely down to cost savings. I also have a motion sensor in my garage so it will notify me if any pets get locked in.
