Many thanks in advance Amplifiers with HT-bypass - update 03. September 2017 Audiophile.no has made a list of stereo preamps and integrated amps that have one sort of HT-bypass. This list is updated 3.september 2017 with ampli... /proxy.php?image=http://audiophile.no/templates/beez3/favicon.ico&hash=b9fd2ab810280ecd07124c5a1d97e891&return_error=1 audiophile.no Not up to date but a pretty good guide as to what's available. Can be costly with the majority starting at £1000. The Cyrus One is probably the cheapest then next in line may come from Musical Fidelity M3si. The Rega Elicit-R is bare bones analogue but extremely easy to use once HT has been set up. I have a Naim Nait XS2 which does this with no issues. It has now been superseded by the XS3.
When buying I auditioned the Naim, Rega Elicit-R, and Musical Fidelity M5 (I think).Anyway all about the same price point. My preference was for the Naim My Yamaha AS-1100 has av pass through. I use a Naim Nait XS for this purpose, works brilliantly. You should be able to pick one up used for £600 Thanks @gibbsy, @Iain42, @Hawklord and @faiz0
Sounds like its not that common and on the higher end or the range.I thought it might be almost a regular thing these days and only missing from the budget end of the spectrum. At least it has give me a starting point to research. Audiolab 8300A has it, as do all old Audiolabs if looking for a used buy. The Roksan K3 has HT bypass too; they don’t seem to appear often secondhand, but you might be fortunate. 140WPC, tons of oomph too. The legendary 8000A doesn't and I'm fairly sure none of the Audiolabs from around that time did either as that was why I switched to Arcam. They do, just look on Google images at them all, Power amp in is clearly labelled on the back of them all; 8000A, 8000LX, 8000S, 8200A & 8300A.
