If a I read you correctly you wish to connect the pre-outs of the Denon X3400 to the integrated stereo amp and use an integrated amps HT by-pass function to enhance your music performance. The Pioneer does not have the HT by-pass function. Amps that do have HT by-pass are expensive and I do not think that any Pioneer amp has this ability.

Can you tell us why you want to connect the Denon 3400 to an amp. What is it to be used for?

Need to connect the pioneer to the denon, for improving 2 Chanel music

gibbsy Publish time 28-11-2019 02:39:54

The Pioneer was not on my list. I stand corrected.

It is the best way to improve stereo performance without a doubt. I have a Denon X6200 and have it connected to a Rega Elicit-R stereo amp via the HT by-pass and it work really well.

What are your music sources?

mito Publish time 28-11-2019 02:39:54

Pcdlna music server
Flac, dsd files

Straight into the Pioneer will certainly give you better audio than the Denon.
