BT transmitter/receiver (w/ Apt-X HD) for old A/V-receiver

Hi,

BT transmitter/receiver (w/ Apt-X HD) for old A/V-receiver?

Trying to keep my old workhorses alive for a year or two more, before upgrading the whole system.. I'd like to add Bluetooth, and some advice is needed.

I have:

old plasma TV (Panasonic TX-P50ST50Y) that has HDMI and Optical audio out -> HDMI to AV-Receiver.
Even older Denon AVR-1909 A/V-receiver
Only 2-channel audio at the moment (1 pair of speakers)
2 headphones (Sennheiser HD598 and AKG K-712)
2 Radsone Earstudio ES100 (that I used to make headphones wireless for listening music I "stream" from my (Apt-X HD / LDAC compatible) mobile phone). Earstudios are attached to headphones with some Velcro and short cable.

Only phone -> headphones (1 at the time) connection is wireless at the moment. Phone is uncapable of transmitting to two receivers simultaneously.

I'd like to be able to

1) Stream music from my phone to Denon, so I think I'd need Apt-X HD / LDAC compatible Bluetooth receiver for Denon.
2) Stream TV's sound via Denon to my "wireless" headphones. To both simultaneously if somehow possible. So I think I'd need a Apt-X HD / LDAC compatible Bluetooth transmitter for Denon, and that transmitter would have to be able to connect simultaneously to both ES100 receivers..
3) It'd be a huge plus if Bluetooth receiver had built in decent DAC.

Does a gadget with this kind of functionality, and decent price tag, exist, and if, which one would you suggest? (Anything expensive, lets say more than few hundred, is out of the question, because my upcoming AV-receiver will anyway have BT)

Or does this sound so stupid that I should just save some more dough and buy a new A/V-receiver that could handle everything I'm trying to do here.. I just would not like to buy it this soon (moving to a new house within few years, and I'm going to anyway build a whole new system when I do).

Thanks!

You’d need two separate items.

On transmitter for the tv; sending the audio through the AVR would complicate things for no reason, and introduce unnecessary latency.

And an optical equipped receiver for the Denon.

Both can be found quite cheaply.

As receiver for the Denon this has Apt-x and an optical out. I use one and it’s perfectly good gear.

for a transmitter for the tv, the tidiest way to do it is to have one that can be powered by one of the TVs usb inputs, but the one I had induced a bit of noise unless I used a separate power supply (I used my spare Apple usb charger)

These have a good reputation.

Using separate items seems to have one downside. I did not mention that I have also HTPC and Playstation that are also connected to A/V-receiver. Sorry.

That is why I thought of connecting the transmitter to the receiver, so it'd be able to send sound from PC/PS/TV via bluetooth when needed.

What about something like this:

Golvery Long Range Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter/Receiver/Bypass 3-in-1 Wireless Audio Adapter for TV Home Audio Stereo System, AptX HD&Low Latency, NFC Link, Full Aux RCA Optical Toslink Port Support: Amazon.ca: Electronics                                                                                                        Golvery Long Range Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter/Receiver/Bypass 3-in-1 Wireless Audio Adapter for TV Home Audio Stereo System, AptX HD&Low Latency, NFC Link, Full Aux RCA Optical Toslink Port Support: Amazon.ca: Electronics                                                                                                                                                                                                        www.amazon.ca
Sound from TV so receiver via optical cable, and then two optical cables (to and from) between receiver and that Golvery thing. Do you see any problems with this kind of setup?

Hmm... I see the problem.

But the possible issue with routing Bluetooth through a receiver is added latency.

It may be unnoticeable, but if it is, then it is very difficult to ignore.

A single unit, the Avantree Oasis Plus, should be able to cover all these requirements (except the LDAC).

Avantree aptX HD Low Latency Long Range Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver for TV, Wireless Audio Adapter for Home Stereo, Optical AUX RCA, Dual Link, Extender, Splitter for Wire & Wireless - Oasis Plus: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics                                                                                                        Buy                                                                                                                                                                                                        www.amazon.co.uk
It has a slider switch for switching between transmitter and receiver modes. There's an optical input for when in Tx mode and a separate optical output for when in Rx mode. It is aptX-HD and allows two sets of headphones to connect in aptX-HD mode.
