That would make it more reasonable. And stop any potential speaker heart attacks.

Unfortunately neither will fit in my unit and has to be rather slim to accommodate the node 2i, virgin box and Panasonic 4k player..the Rega elex r ticks all the boxes and seems powerful enough with plenty positive reviews, I came across a blog using my speakers from audiot

Can’t think it’ll all be anything other than very fine indeed.

Good choice, I'm an Elicit owner. Hope you're not hoping to use headphones with it though.

They are good amps. I bought the Elicit even though I knew I'd have to buy a standalone headphone amp, adding to the cost as it still sounded a lot better than the other amps I auditioned. I think you'll be more than pleased.

Can you give us the shelf depth so we have some sense of what amps will fit?
SORRY, I missed the part where you already purchased an Amp. Rega's are pretty basic, but they do sound good. I think you will be more than satisfied.
Though not cheap, you could look at the Rotel A12 (60w/ch, DAC) and the Rotel A14 (80w/ch, DAC) -

If you want high power and compact size, then you might want to start looking at Chinese Class-D Amps.
I think it is something of a mistake to try to make the Amp fit the Space. You should make the Amp fit the NEED, then make the space fit the Amp. Though I confess that is not as easy as it sounds, it is still the philosophy that I hold to. Sometimes all it takes to solve the the problem of space is a little ingenuity and creative thinking.
Again, can you give us some sense of the Working Depth of the Cabinet or the Shelf?

Hi Paul on the bluesound you can asign any remote to control any of the nodes features i.e. volume up down next etc dead easy to do no more crappy slider I found it by mistake scrolling through the menus in the app. I must say though blue sounds app is a joy to use much better than upnp on my hegel h190.
