Do you mean a cable for the Monolith?
Something like this would be fine, you just need to work out what length you need:

So, in my best way of explaining, the black Monolith that was in the set up with the PMCs, had bare cables and was spread out over 3 ports at the back of the amp and the brown monolith had a banana pin (I think) but I can't swap the cables over as the other bit is different! Man, I'm sorry I have no idea what all the words are. I also don't know what I've done with all the cables.
I've just started getting the 22s set up in my office but can't decide where to position them. I need a large desk area for work and I don't want to have anything happen to them so I think I need to set them up a bit funny but ideal for listening to music on my own

Ok, I have set up the 22s in the office and it is still just the left speaker that is working which clarifies it wasn't a cabling issue. For now, I'm happy to use the headphones until I can find a solution. I also need to find a better solution for the set up as I need maximum desk space for my business and I am now very limited!

Did you manage to get all 5 speakers on the onkyo working? If the simple button press on the remote didn't work then its most likely the amp needing to know what speaker arrangement you've got setup (provided the speakers are wired up correctly).
With regards to the subs, it sounds like the black monolith was using the hfe connection which would connect to the amps speaker terminals as per pic:

The brown monolith is probably using a subwoofer cable which goes into the sub out on the amp, as per @Derek S-H link.
How were the subs setup? Were they both connected to the onkyo avr? Or was one for the musicfidelity (assume black monolith)?
With regards to the pmcs, are they connected to the music fidelity amp with headphone amp and dac in the mix? Did you try the dac connected directly to the musicfidelity amp? Also did you try the rca cables rather than the xlr balanced cables?
Sorry for 101 questions.

A1, I still only have 4 speakers working. I've chased the cables and they all seem to be in the right place. When I went through and did the speaker arrangement, The Onkyo is picking up that the Front Right is the Back Left and the Back Left is not producing any sound. I've checked the set up on 3 occasions as I doubt my own intelligence and it is definitely all correct. I am yet to swap out cables and investigate further as Im just happy to have something!
A2, as per your picture, That is correct for the black monolith that was plugged into the M6i and the brown went into the Onkyo. I thought about just swapping out the cables but it looked like I couldn't when I went to do this. (different connections)
A3, I tried to connect the RCA cables this evening and I just got lost. On the M6i, where would I plug them into? There are a few options! The set up, Is exactly as my husband had it before i moved it all.

Hmm a1 is a head scratcher.
A2, i would expect both of the subs to be the same on the back and have the ability to use hfe (bare cables via nuetrik no. 5 in pic) and lfe (using single cable with the red (right/mono) input being used no.7 in pic).

A3. If trying to connect the dac to the m6i then use these outputs (2 & 3)

And connect them to aux input on m6i (no. 10). Make sure the little switch is set to aux, then ensure amp source is aux. If this works you know your amps speaker outputs work. To simplify it further you could plug your optical cable from the tv straight into your m6i to test the amp.

Got the A3 and I'll have a look before I go to bed.
A2, the black Monolith looks like that but not the brown. The brown is one cable, similar to the RCA which Ican't put into the black as its neither left, right nor 3 pin. Likewise, I can't use the 3 pin on the brown mono. It's literally as if everything has its place in each set up and needs to all be kept together! Grrr!

PS, thank you for the diagrams. Definitely makes life easier! I've not managed to cook for 4 days which kinda explains my head space at the moment so pictures are good!

@TheHighFlyingBirds I have taken it off balanced and connected the RCA and its a negative. Still one speaker working! I've also found an alternative speaker cable and that hasn't got it to work so it is the right output port on the back of the m6i!!

Oh dear thats not good. You could try using the preouts on the amp to the headphone amp which would identify if the fault is in preamp stage or the amplifier stage, although this wont help you immediately but it would perhaps narrow down the fault.
