Q acoustics 3020i speakers
Hi All. I'm new to the forum so please bare with me. I am trying to build my set-up piece by piece and would be grateful of some help and advice. I have an Onkyo TX-8150 amp/receiver, an Audio Technica AT-LP 1240-USB turntable and a Bose Acoustimass 3 series IV speaker system. My speakers aren't giving my ears enough pleasure. They were all I could afford at the time and I'm now looking to add to them with some Q acoustics 3020i bookshelf speakers. Can someone advise me if these 3020i's as good as the reviews I'm reading and are they compatible with my set-up? If so, shall I wire them from the sub-woofer or from the amp? I wait in anticipation of your response, thank you. They are excellent speakers for the money and will compliment most systems well, you could also consider auditioning the Mission LX2's Thanks Thanks. I've ordered them. Saving over 100€ by ordering them from Amazon uk rather than Amazon Fr. Free delivery to France also! 221€ compared to 325€. I was a bit dubious so I rang the selling company (northxsouth ltd). They sound genuine and my parcel has been dispatched. I just wish my wife was as excited as I am. Agree excellent speaker for the money. Very smooth and clear. Now the bass isn't incredibly deep even for a 5" speakers, but I would speculate they are close to as deep as the 2.1 Acoustimass system.
Relative to the Bose, I think you will find the 3020/3020i much more satisfying.
