Van Damme Blue Series Studio Grade Speaker Cable 4.00mm BY THE METRE 268-545-060 5060395786939 | eBay I'm still trying to work out if expensive cable does anything. On the Gearslutz forums many say the difference in sound is placebo effect, I need peace of mind though.
My next cable is VOVOX XLR balanced or Mogami XLR balancedthe Mogami is a no brainer as they are bought by most mainly for the build quality and life time guarantee which is handy if one unplugs thema lot. Hello MikeFinn,
I have owned the Rotel RA-1592 for about 1 month.I have a 8 year old Marantz CD-5004 and the newer KEF R3 with stands. I'm very impressed with the sound of this combination. The Marantz CD-5004 was reviewed on the on Stereophile web site inMar 18, 2011. https://www.avforums.com/attachments/kef_r3_black_-_front-png.1222217/ https://www.avforums.com/data/attachments/1150/1150656-c5f21147894478d708fbf4d3eaf3fa93.jpg For neutral sound perhaps the Harbeth Monitors 30.1/30.2 are worth a demo? I loved them when I tried them out recently, but the wife didn’t! So I bought Monitor Audio’s, which we both love the sound of. Phew! https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/joypixels/[email protected]/png/64/1f602.png I use Van Den Hul The Clearwater speaker cable, again, a very neutral sounding cable, really flexible and about £10 per meter, which I found price performance to be very reasonable. Happy listening.
