They are absurdly expensive.
There are plenty to choose from here. I’ve always used UPS drop off service. Always next day delivery and never a problem

https://www.avforums.com/styles/avf/logo.og.png Sending q acoustic bookshelves,, Hi folks, thinking of selling on my q acoustic speakers. Is it easy enough to send them through royal mail and how much would it cost ? Any replies would be great . https://www.avforums.com/styles/avf/logo.og.png www.avforums.com Same question as asked in the thread outlined above.
Threads now merged. I normally use UPS via Interparcel , not had any issues as yet.
As an aside, I believe that the extra insurance cover for UPS is next to useless as the chances of them coughing up are nil going off what numerous people on this and other forums have experienced. Luckily I have never had an issue so far but I think it's fair to point out. They will cough up as long as you can prove the item was working and packed correctly prior to collection.I always photograph the box and video the item I am sending working.Only had to make 2 claims so far both paid out in full. I think you're one of the lucky ones then. A common point raised seems to be that UPS claim insufficientpackaging even if it is the manufacturers original packaging etc. Also, proving something was working can beproblematic. I also tend to double box, but if they throw "insufficientpackaging" at me I would query why the driver accepted the parcel if it was not not fit for shipping...
