This could sorely tempt me away from my Moto X4. I guess it's just me that's excited by this phone. There’s a guy on YouTube called Geekanoids, he’s just made a video on it saying that he cancelled his new iPhone order(because of various reasons) and he bought this phone as his daily phone.
I’ve watched it and it really does look great for something that costs under £400, your getting a lot for your money. I think so too.I was slightly worried about the panda king glass (having never heard of it before), but it sounds very similar to Gorilla glass. Is that what they are calling the glass, that’s quite funny! If it’s strong then it doesn’t matter what it’s called I guess.
the only thing that would put me off a phone like this is software updates, or rather the lack of maybe? Not sure how efficient Motorola are. From my understanding, it's made exactly the same was the same as Gorilla Glass, just made by a different company.
My Moto X4 updated to 8.0 from 7.1 pretty much instantly (had it just around 18 months), but it's only just updated to 9.0 in the last month.
It seems a few people are disappointed by this being called a Motorola One phone, and it not having Android One.But imo Motorola's version of Android is pretty clean, and some handy Motorola add ons. At nearly 2 years old that’s very good if it got version 9.
Are you going to buy it, or still thinking about it? Probably not for a while yet (I want to clear credit card off a bit first).
