Huawei warranty transferable?

Hi all

Purchased a (new) Mate 20 Pro from these very forums less than a year ago (so well within warranty). Unfortunately, the other day it developed a 1 pixel wide green vertical green line on the screen that wont go away data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Anyway, I've just contacted support and they're going to send me a jiffy bag etc to return the phone. I was informed I'll also need to supply proof of purchase, which the seller supplied at the time. Obviously, this has their name & address on it.

My question is, it the fact the original receipt is in the seller's name going to be a problem?

Thanks in advance

As long as you can supply a copy of the original proof of purchase (which Huawei ask for), you should be fine (i was).
