Which monitor £350

Hi guys, I'm looking to get a new monitor to upgrade my nearly ten year old current 21" panel from Hanns-G 120hz 2ms.

Looking at 2560x1440 144hz 1 to 4ms 27", found a couple that look good, any recommendations or opinions on the two below.

Acer VG271U - IPS 144hz 1ms freesync 27" £289.99

MSI OPTIX MAG271CQR 27 - VA 144hz 1ms freesync 27" curved £329.99

Thanks!!

Both have similar Freesync modes 48-144hz with LFC.

There are comments on reddit that the MSI flickers in Freesync (gsync-c) mode if using an Nvidia GPU, not sure if that has been fixed so that would push me towards the Acer.

Thanks, I'm running GTX 1080 so any flicker introduced due to nvidia running on freesync will be annoying.

Thanks but no.

Sounds like a brand Aldi would sell.

fair enough.. its just a rebanded vast drop monitor.

Thanks, that name also means nothing to me and looks like a cheap brand I would not look at buying.

Lol man fair... I mean for a cheap brand it’s still the same price as the monitors ur trying to get

But I do agree it’s a bit of a dodgey brand but at least you get a premium res and aspect ratio within ur budget

This is my recommendation https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dell-S2719DGF-Anti-Glare-LED-backlit-Monitor/dp/B07HRZ57ZZ/ref=asc_df_B07HRZ57ZZ/?tag=bingshoppinga-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid={creative}&hvpos={adposition}&hvnetw=o&hvrand={random}&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl={devicemodel}&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4583589102940552&psc=1

It does look good but I think I'd prefer a known brand incase of any warranty issues.

Thanks, I'll have a look.
