IPS users.. do you play in the dark?

For IPS users, do you PC game in the dark? I find it really hard to game in the dark with an IPS panel due to IPS glow. Just wondiering whether people factor this into reccomendations or whether it just doens't affect them.

I prefer gaming in the dark with a small backlight led light strip. Helps focus. I don't find the glow excessive on my X34A.
