but never really got into BF1 , played it , didn't like it , not sure why tho....
there was something lost going from BF4 to BF1 , it just didn't take my fancy at all ...
so with this on the horizon i can't see it been any better ,
yes i know i shouldn't judge it yet going off a 12 second trailer , butto mei think the magic has been lost .
i hope im totally wrong and it turns out to be one hell of a game ..... I felt the same - roughly 400 hours on each of bc2, bf3 and bf4. For bf1? Less than a 100. I love BF1 and looking forward to BFV.
Carentan in France stands out as a setting we might see as the battle spanned the town and the surrounding fields and farms. So today is the day we find out more...

Looking very WW2 to me although im hoping for Vietnam tbh Someone posted something interesting on I think it was YouTube, which I think could be great, but very unlikely.
The MP is set amongst different time scales, so WW1, WW2, Vietnam, Modern day etc., which would fit in with there comments about 'Battle on a whole new scale' (or something along them lines). I am pretty certain it's not that and it's just WW2, but it's a cool idea.
Anyway, us gamers are hard to please aren't we? When we had BF4 people were wanting WW1, we got it and people generally weren't that thirlled. Now people seem to want modern day BF again, my self included, and don't seem overly pleased that it could be WW2.
I would have preferred it to be modern day, I like BF1 and thought they did a good job overall, but I don't know, it didn't keep my attention for very long. I can't pinpoint exactly why that was, it just didn't.
Saying that I found BF4 rather dissapointing, The commander(?) mode which worked so well in BF2 just didn't seem to work in BF4 and the maps were pretty bad, so I didn't put as much time into that as I expected... I guess that's why I was hoping for another modern day BF, just done better. ...I want BC3....data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 I wonder if the new scale means larger as in Battle Royal. COD has sacked the single player for BLOPS 4 this year and is doing a Battle Royal too, as it's the buzzword atm. Seeing as they already do 64 players, if anyone can do large scale well it's Battlefield. you can pretty much guarantee it will have a BR Gamemode
