Gamecube!worth buying??
Currently playing Luigis Mansion 2 and thinking wether to pick a gamecube up cheap to play original!ofcourse I'd play mario sunshine too,but just wondered if there's enough games to play other than them to justify picking one up! Worth buying imo - dirt cheap atm with many many games (eBay, Amazon, some High St shops).I've still got my GameCube (NTSC) with over 50 games. My NTSC console plays games in 480p too using component cable.GameCube was one of my favourite Nintendo consoles and it used mini discs which loaded lightning fast (nearly cartridge speed).
Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart DD, Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, Metroid Prime 1,2 and 3, Pikmin 1 and 2, Smash Brothers, Zelda WW, Zelda OOT, Animal Crossing, Burnout 1 and 2, Ikaruga and F-Zero GX are just a few excellent games you could buy for very cheap prices.
It has a library of about 600 games (disc) and even has online capabilities. Well I've just been told by someone I know,I can borrow there wii as they don't use it anymore!hopefully it's the earlier one that plays gamecube games!
So am I right in thinking I just need a control pad and plug in front?do I need to set wii sensor and all that up?? Your thread title asked if GameCube was worth buying. You now mention a Wii lol
GameCube uses either wired or wireless controllers. If it's a Wii you're getting, you will need sensor bar for Wii games but, if you're getting a Wii to play GameCube games, then you won't need sensor bar, just GameCube controllers. I was intending to buy a gamecube, but someone's now said I can use there wii, does the same job, plus I get for free,ha!
But will only use for gamecube play so just need to buy a cheap controller and games now!
If the wii is the non gamecube version I shall purchase a gamecube! So acquired wii, bought luigis mansion and controller!i now find out I need a memory card to save(won't just save to wii?)!
I'm looking on flea bay and 3rd party ones pretty cheap(should be ok shouldn't they)?just wondering what size card if need??will only be playing a handful of games!
