Just got a Wii U last week too with a great offer over here of the basic package with Skylanders starter pack and Nintendoland for AU $179.Absolute bargain! Will flog Nintendoland as not interested in that. Then picked up Mario Kart 8 for AU $54 with the free game download code.Well happy. Is the first current gen Nintendo console I've had since the SNES.Loving Mario Kart though and my 4 year old boy is enjoying Mario ans Skylanders.

I totally bypassed the Wii so am looking forward to picking up the Mario Galaxy games.   Really happy with the Wii U at the moment.

Well I doubt EA will support the Wii U anytime soon, but if the numbers pick up maybe Ubisoft will release that secret game they have finished and sitting on a shelf.

I would think that with Ninty throwing top quality games at the Wii U now (Zelda, Smash Bros, Mario Maker etc) and other great looking games coming too (Bayonetta 1 and 2) plus SPLATOON (Hooray) then I think some less stubborn companies may make the change.

The question is, whether they will release "full" versions on the Wii U or watered down versions. Because if it is watered down, and someone owns another console, they will obviously buy it on there !!

The release dates for all consoles are pretty sparse for 2014, but, for me, Nintendo has the better line-up. I'll be picking up Smash Bros, Bayonetta 2, Captain Toad and Hyrule Warriors on day one, plus some of the Indie stuff like Tengami, Shovel Knight and 90s Arcade Racer.

I'm glad there isn't a huge amount being released this year, gives me a chance to get through my backlog and pick up the last few PS3, Vita and 360 games I've been meaning to get (South Park, Last of Us, FFX/X2, Tales of Xillia 2, Tales of Zestria, Tales of Graces R).

Lol. You have the same problem I do. Consoles with games we want scattered across. Makes it hard to get some quality game time

I still have Endless Ocean 2 and Pandora's Tower calling to me from my big pile of Wii games, not to mention just about every 3DS game I've bought still need finishing off. Being a modern gamer with a short attention span is hard work.

You know what game I could definitely support coming to the Wii-U or 3DS... Destiny of an Emperor!

The game that Dynasty Warriors probably got their idea from.It was one of the original RPG's back in the NES days!My god was that game fun and you had to make decisions that would affect certain outcomes of your game.My dad and I used to love it... we would write down notes on this single piece of paper on what we should do and how to get certain things later in the game that we learned from playing through it so many times. It was seriously good.

Getting Lu Bu to fight with you was seriously the hardest thing to do in any game ever. But those games when you didn't mess up the key actions throughout the game and finally get him to fight on your side and you felt like a God!

These are some screenshots from the second one which I never got to play but ultimately it looks like the same game: Destiny of an Emperor II: Item Duplication Secrets - Kongming's Archives
