Handheld collectors - do you remove built-in batteries?
Just wondering about the long-term safety of built in batteries (ie leaks, expansion etc).I have a few handhelds with built in batteries - special edition DS's and 3DS's - which I've got in storage.
Should I remove the batteries (where possible) to protect the consoles over the years, or are they ok to be left in long-term?
What do you do? I've never had any issues with built in batteries being stored long term, but I always remove AA type batteries and the like as they often leak when left for a while unused. Yep, same - thanks data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
