Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

Nintendo showed off a new trailer for the western version of MH 4 at E3. Features dedicated online play on the 3DS for the first time, and a whole bunch of new monsters to tackle.

Nobody bought this then? Reading on other forums, and reviews, this is excellent. I was going to wait and buy it on my New 3DS when it arrives but I might just get it on my OG XL now and just transfer the game/save over.

Yes mate I have it, haven't had much chance to play it yet.

I'm about 5 hours into this after getting it on Friday. It's excellent so far but only on the 2 star quests. Not touched the online aspect yet and not sure how it works. Very good game so far, i played a little bit of MH3U but can see myself putting much more time into this one.

Been trying to fight off buying this.... do you still get to do the survey and get nintendo stars buying from cdkeys?

I've used the site plenty of times for pc games, not used it for nintendo stuff yet though.

I tried the demo, my first experience of a MH game. Defeated the main monster but didn't really know what I was doing and it sort of put me off a bit. Have you tried the demo for MH4, and if so is it a good representation of the full game? I felt like I would need my hand held with some tutorials at the start.

I never played the demo no. Honestly, the only way I'd think to get a true reflection on what this game is like is to play the full thing. It's so in-depth with so many different systems etc that I can't imagine a demo giving a fair picture of what the game's really like. I'm not a big lover of games that involve a lot of grinding but this is really getting under my skin. I'd love to try online so if anyone has the game let me know.
