Sorry it is not something I will share here. Before you scream foul!

The Beelink x2 uses a Allwinner H3 and runs Android 4.4 ( Android is java running on Linux, mostly )

So here is a video linked on YouTube of a Beelink X2, H3, and at just past 15 minutes in the video, you can watch the Citadel UNREAL engine running on a H3

Here is video.

And you think n64 graphics worry it?

Power is all well and good but without proper programming of the emulator to take advantage of it it'll be all for nothing. My guess is the current Nes/Snes emulator that Nintendo used for their last 2 mini classics was fit for purpose but now they'll need to come up with something from scratch for N64.

Either way I'm sure there will be an N64 Mini sometime in the next year. I just hope it comes with at least 2 controllers which are replicated with an accurate feel of the originals and spot on emulation (with or without slowdown) and a crisp HDMI RGB output with scanlines.

Like @bash said that unreal engine is programmed to run on an android device, its a mobile game. Quite different to trying to emulate the architecture of a completely different system and then run the game on top of that.

From Nintendo's point of view both the Mini Nes and Mini SNES have been hardware, software cracked. But N64 emulators are still a work in progress on many systems.

I wonder if they are not to keen to show how it is done, ie the software, hardware of a Mini N64 gets cracked and teaches how to do the emulation.

At present Chinese clones are stuck at SNES & NES, I suggest.

No it is running Linux, the Java on top, then the unreal engine. All on a Android TV box at a higher resolution and effects than a N64 could ever manage.

Running software to pretend it is hardware, then running a game on top is the dumb way to do it.

You run just enough operating system to run the game as programme instructions, lower overhead.

I really do hope we get an N64 Mini classic.
These are great little bits of kit and really scratch my retrogaming itch.
An N64 with good emulation running the 60hz versions of the games via HDMI would be superb and with an actual N64 controller as well I dont think you would be able to get a better way to play N64 games.

I really hope so too, just concerned the emulator might take a bit longer than previous ones as we've never seen a perfect emulator on any system outside a decent PC setup (and even then it's had some issues), unlike NES and SNES where we already knew the emulators were spot on.

Also, 3rd parties have released more traditional controllers for the N64 that IMHO are better than the original Nintendo one, so will be interesting to see what Nintendo do as I know those controllers were quite expensive to make and prone to failure. They've got 20 years of improvement since then tho to make them better!

I used to service N64 pads for friends and myself back in the day.

The stick and cup were the issue but I've seen modern parts that improve this no end.

I'd relish a proper mini N64 - especially if someone hacks it to allow additional ROMs added, as I still have a few games kicking about but no console (or desire to HDMI mod one). Oh, to play Jet Force Gemini again with an N64 pad...

Jet Force Gemini was rock hard. I still have that game sat in my loft !!

How would they stand getting the classics on this though, surely rare titles like banjo kazooie and Goldeneye will be off limits now ms own rare.

It would definitely need 4 controller ports though, no point having an N64 unless you can play it with 4 of you.

I'd love to see Sega follow suit with classic systems but they seem to prefer licensing it out to other companies. A mini Dreamcast Saturn and mega drive would be great to see, could even add a LAN port to the Dreamcast and get the original phantasy Star online back up and running.
