One Xbox two rooms

I currently have two separate Xboxes connected to two separate tv's in different rooms.

The problem I have is the kids want to play the same game in co-op mode. I know they can do it split screen, but they would rather play on separate screens. Running cables is not a problem.

The problem is having one copy of the game, I'm wondering if I would be better to buy another copy, that way they can play via live. Advise would be appreciated.

That's what my son and I have.
2 consoles in different rooms.
We share the gold and ea sub.
Games we would both want to play at the same time/with each other we tend to buy digital.
If it's a game we are not sure of in terms of longevity we tend to buy on disc, obviously you would need two copies though.
Generally though we tend to get digital as it's easier and we get them using credit obtained cheaply etc.

Agree with @Sad099 answer, exactly what me and my son do, digital on all games, my home set on his Xbox and everything purchased on my console so available on his ie gold and ea access

Cheers, my thoughts exactly.

They have connected the two Tv's to the one Xbox, but obviously this takes up a lot of room.
Guess I will have to fork out for another game.
