Question Xbox One Sound Question

I have my xbox one linked to my Acer S24 all in one desktop PC

I am having problems with the sound on the Xbox, basically I can't turn it down, even with the pc speakers at 0, still plays full whack through the xbox.

Is there any workaround for this?

Thanks

Troubleshoot game audio or video issues on Windows 10

https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/troubleshoot-sound

Sound settings are as follows;

Speakers (Cirrus Logic CS4206B) (AB 29)

Default Device - YES

Default Format 32 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality)

Digital Audio (S/PDIF) (Cirrus Logic CS4206B) (AB 29)

2 channel, 16 bit 48000 Hz (DVD Quality)

Also, click on playback device called 'Speakers' to highlight it and then click on the 'Configure' button at the bottom left corner of the Sound window.

Then select 'Stereo', Next, Next, Finish.

This should work now.
