Since buying red dead 2 and blops 4id say well worth the upgrade
Had to use my girlfriends one S the other day. Been using my one X since day one, straight away I noticed just how slow it is to boot up and load things, also the dashboard now feels very sluggish.
I was using the menu alot in conan exiles (easy 1000g by the way) and it would take a couple of seconds to open on the S, it was instant on the X.
I’ve been gaming on my Xbox One X on my 1080p Sony for a year or so, and imo, yes it is worth it.I was like you, wondering if the upgrade would be worth it for 1080p, and I’m so glad I went for it.The enhanced modes in games and the Supersampling are great.
I don't have a 4K telly, seen one in Argos for £300, might invest if I've won anything on the Lottery this week.
Yeah Argos is the best place to buy a 4K TV. No need to do research just buy buy buy!
What's the dashboard interface like?
Its OS is the same as the base S console only it runs smoother with less lag.
I think the X is just a cash grab, unless you want 4k
It is far more powerful than the original xbox one.
Still only have a 1080p tv and if the X had not been released i would have not bought a xbox one at all.
The original xbox one was under powered compared to the PS4 and sales showed that.
Buy a 4k tv and Xbox One Xbundle even very cheap 1080p is terrible qauilty you should consider upgrading, and X is worth it even in 1080pbecause it smoothes every aspect of gaming like online play and connection, never lags or slows gameplay, input lag barly exists, it really fixes gaming to be problem free . Xbox one s and xbox one have way too many problems during gaming.
