`i‘m in Hong Kong, so maybe there’s a problem with it from the point of view of distance? I don‘t know. My internet is usually fast, as it’s fibre optic, and downloads are quick. I tried playing Batman Arkham Origins and RDR. Both of which were almost unplayable at times.

Furthermore, I would happily sign up to an all-digital streaming future on 2 conditions:

1. Games could be downloaded and played for a limited time in the case of internet outage or ISP problems.
2. Visual fidelity was maintained and I didn‘t have noticeable input lag.

I can’t see either being in place currently, so I‘ll stick with buying games in the meantime.

i would suspect being in hong kong is the problem as the psnow isnt supported anywhere but america or europe. so you must have be playing it on a European server

Ah. I've had my UK account since 5/6 years ago, so didn't even think about changing over!

Visual fidelity is the easier problem to solve, input lag much harder.
