Finally got round to getting a decent rom set for mame. Ver 0.78 is apparently the best for compatability using mame2003 as the emulator in the settings.

Hi Addy

sorry for going off-topic.

I got an old (2012) Mac Mini sat here doing nothing except for gathering dust, do you know if there is much support for emulators and front ends for Mac OS ?

addyb Publish time 26-11-2019 22:43:44

Having never done it on mac i'm not 100% sure but I know there are emulators for it. Take a look at this link.

Any options for wireless controllers ? Like those SNES ones but wireless?

addyb Publish time 26-11-2019 22:43:47

I think so. It supports wireless and Bluetooth controllers.

Terrible input lag on my new arcade stick data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
There's a few things I can try tonight to hopefully resolve it, one being to update the firmware on the stick.

If it all fails it will have to be returned.

DpM Publish time 26-11-2019 22:43:49

What a shame as that stick looks really nice. Fingers crossed for the firmware update.

addyb Publish time 26-11-2019 22:43:50

Yeah hopefully. Someone else on retropie forums has one and has no issues so will see later after the update.

Firmware updated and still bad input lag data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
I've a couple of config tweaks to try but if no joy it looks like it's going back.
