shenmue 1/2 HD coming to pc, ps4 and xbox 2018
good news for us fans, shenmue 1 & 2 HD are going to be release for pc, ps4 and xbox one later in 2018.Shenmue 1 and 2 Being Re-Released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC - IGN Are you sure they will be hd remasters? I’m trying to see if anyone has confirmed this yet. I do hope they receive similar treatment to Yakuza etc yes, it official.
you will also have the ability to have either japanse or english dialog. (i prefer japanses with english text, myself) Yeah I felt fluent in japanese left and right after the dc Shenmue II I love these games (I imported the original for my DC at the original Japanese launch) but I suspect the masses will hate them. They're very slow and the control scheme is very odd. Not much action in them either, they're mainly about walking around talking to people.
The Yakuza games are basically Shenmue with lots of action and humour, albeit without the likeable characters. They're much more in line with contemporary tastes I think. there is going to have updated & classic controls.
i think shenmue has grown a big cult following. imo those who have never played it, will get hooked.
would of been good if the game came out on the nintendo switch, imo its a great game for the younger gamers.
