Blasphemy!!
AC2 was the best in the series.
Maybe you're getting confused with the original, which was very repetitive.
AC2 was where the series really took off.
There was far more variety, and a better story, which was a perfect mix of linear and open world.
The series has stumbled since then and never really got back what made 2 so good.

For me, at least one of the worst games I've played was Conan on the 360.
It wasn't a bad game as such.
Yes it was a pretty repetitive hack n' slash, and I could have handled that.
What really ruined the game was the lack of camera control and the sudden increase in difficulty right at the end. Especially with the final boss. I was playing on easy as well.

I'd have happily played through it a few more times to grab more of the achievements, but they way the game slapped you in the face with what seemed like a 200% difficulty increase at the end, I just couldn't stomach going through it again.
Instead I finished that final boss(I refused to let the game get the better of me), put my shoes on and went to my local Game to trade it in.

This comes to mind. Five duff games.

This is probably the worst I've played in recent times. A real broken mess. Loved the plot so persevered for a while but the game was broken... Clunky movement, random hit detection etc. Just awful.

Alpha Protocol I really enjoyed... Totally nuts. Just checked and got 770/1000 on it.

I never had a problem with the game.
Sure it looked dated, but I found it to be quite enjoyable.
And the overall plot and ending was something I really enjoyed the most.

I remember after school walking fifteen minutes to the shops to buy Renegade 3 on the C64. I then had a half hour walk home before I got to play it. It had got a shill review of 90% in ZZap magazine. The game was total crap, I vividly remember my disappointment!

Star Wars Force Unleashed 2 (PS3)
Story not nearly as good Unleashed 1. Repetitive...boring

I kind of agree with you there.
Even the Balrog fight wasn't as good as it really could have been.
The game looked pretty, and it was good that the light sabres actually removed limbs rather than acting like a glowing rob which you beat people with.

As for the repetitiveness.
The first game was guilty of recycling the levels.
Or at the very least the areas those levels were based on.

Your not wrong here, I played it on the Amiga where you had to disk swap a few times between games and it took an age to load, it was terrible.
