Is this an acceptable input lag?

I'm looking to buy a projector and the manufacturer has provided these stats for their low latency mode:

: 2 frames (CMD:Off=Low latency) = 33mS

: 2.2 frames (CMD:Off=Low latency) = 91mS

I'm not entirely sure what that all means and if that equates to acceptable for gaming with a PS4 and Xbox one.

Any advice appreciated.

My current 1080p panel is around 20ms and I don't notice any input lag when gaming, but I think when you get nearer to 100ms you will notice it.

That's what i was thinking. but which of the two is most relevant?
: 2 frames or : 2.2 frames?

will be the most relevant, as that's the video rate that the Xbox One will send when gaming. The rate will only be used when the Xbox One is playing blu-rays movies etc. when the added latency won't be an issue.

Thanks taffyt.

In that case it sounds like the projector should be fine. 33ms should be OK?

I guess the PS4 is as well but will check the specs.
Thanks

33ms should be absolutely fine for gaming IMHO.

The non-Pro PS4 will be outputting only It's probably the same, but worth checking as some TVs etc. do have different / higher input lag for 1080P signals.

It really depends what games you play. For anything except twitch shooters like CoD, or online fighting games, input lag is not as critical and the numbers you listed should be fine.

For CoD, I want 20ms or lower as I need every possible advantage, but for the rest it’s not critical
